Collaborative Divorce and CLII
Collaborative Divorce is an out-of-court divorce process that helps divorcing couples end their marriage with dignity and respect. It is a highly supported divorce process that provides people with a greater level of privacy and control than traditional litigation.
Collaborative Divorce is a growing trend in divorce, both in the United States and abroad. In 2017, the Illinois Legislature passed the Collaborative Process Act, which clearly established Collaborative Process as a recognized way of getting divorced in Illinois.
