FAQ Based on Results of International Academy of Collaborative Professionals' Crescent Research ProjectWhat are the characteristics of people who choose Collaborative Divorce?  Among IACP survey responders, 59% of all husbands and 60% of all wives were between 40 and 54 years of age.  There were more wives than husbands 39 years of age or younger (27% vs. 21%), and more husbands than wives 55 years or older (20% vs. 13%). . . .

2006 book by Pauline Tesler, J.D., and Peggy Thompson, Ph.D., which is is an excellent book on collaborative divorce for couples considering this option. Pauline Tesler is a California certified family law specialist and Peggy Thompson is a licensed psychologist. 2006 book by Stuart Webb, J.D., and Ronald Ousky, J.D. This is another excellent book on collaborative divorce. Stuart Webb, a Minnesota lawyer, is the founder of collaborative divorce. He started the movement on January 1, 1990.
3 Collaborative Law:  Achieving Effective Resolution in Divorce without Litigation:  2nd Edition 2008 book by Pauline Tesler.  This book is written for lawyers and should be read by lawyers practicing collaborative divorce.
